Business Development Manager (Track & Trace) remote

We are looking for a highly strategic, autonomous, and result-oriented Business Development Manager (Track & Trace / Government Solutions). In this role, you will take full ownership of international market penetration, identifying and capturing high-value business opportunities within the brand protection and regulatory technology (RegTech) sectors, driving complex B2B and B2G sales cycles from initial positioning to successful closing.

Work Format: 100% Remote.

Language Requirement: English—Fluent/Advanced (C1–C2).

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • 5+ years of solid experience in B2B / B2G business development, international software sales, or high-tech integration projects.
  • 3+ years of dedicated, proven expertise in Track & Trace systems, serialization platforms, product/brand protection solutions, mass serialization, or national supply chain tracking technologies.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory environments, digital serialization concepts (data matrices, secure QR codes), and the competitive landscape of the secure traceability market (e.g., SICPA, TraceCore, etc.).
  • Documented track record of managing complex, high-stakes, long-cycle sales processes and actively participating in international public procurement or corporate tenders.
  • Strong ability to effectively initiate relationships and conduct high-level negotiations with C-suite executives, senior government officials, customs/tax authorities, and international infrastructure consortiums.
  • Highly strategic and analytical mindset, with the capability to accurately evaluate regional market dynamics and tailor technical value propositions into bulletproof commercial solutions.
  • Outstanding presentation, cross-cultural communication, and persuasive storytelling skills.
  • Exceptional self-drive and autonomy, with a proven history of meeting or exceeding strict corporate commercial and financial KPIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute robust commercial expansion strategies for our innovative Track & Trace solutions in target international markets.
  • Lead the end-to-end international sales pipeline: from rigorous market mapping and proactive cold outreach to high-level system presentations and contract finalization.
  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships with multinational commercial brands, logistics integrators, and government/municipal entities.
  • Actively monitor, analyze, and lead the preparation of sophisticated commercial bids and international tender documentation.
  • Partner closely with internal product development and technical engineering teams to synthesize specific regional, operational, and regulatory market needs into tailored product features.
  • Systematically manage, measure, and analyze your sales funnel, forecasts, and activities using the company’s internal CRM infrastructure.
  • Represent the company’s tech vision at major international conferences, trade shows, and thematic industry events focused on brand security and supply chain visibility.
